Spayne Lindsay is delighted to announce that it has advised on the sale of R&W Scott, a Scottish based manufacturer focused on preserves and coatings, to its management team.

R&W Scott has been producing jams and preserves for over 130 years and is based out of Carluke in Lanarkshire, Scotland. R&W Scott also manufactures chocolate flavoured coatings, sweet and savoury spreads and specialitysoft icings, servicing several sectors including retail, foodservice and wholesale customers worldwide and has been a part of RGF since the Group’s inception.

The sale of R&W Scott is the second disposal that Spayne Lindsay has advised RGF on in 2018, following the sale of Haydens Bakery to Bakkavor earlier in the year.
