Spayne Lindsay & Co. advises on the sale of Reach Holdings (“Reach”) to Acosta Sales & Marketing (“Acosta”)

Spayne Lindsay is delighted to announce that it has advised Reach on its sale to Acosta, a leading North American Sales & Marketing agency operating across North America in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Founded in 1975, Reach provides industry-leading sales and marketing services to global consumer brands such as Nestle and Kraft Heinz. Reach’s approach is differentiated, leveraging its proprietary data platform that has been developed over the last 10 years.

Headquartered in the UK, Reach has an increasingly global presence across the US, Continental Europe and Australia and is well-placed to capitalise on the changing dynamics within consumer markets by implementing its data-led approach to deliver increased returns for its clients.

Gary MacManus, Chairman at Reach, commented:

“The Spayne Lindsay team delivered a fantastic result for everyone involved: the shareholders, management and the business. They quickly understood our differentiated business model and delivered the key international strategic buyers ahead of a formal process. The team was tactically astute with first-class execution capabilities that were evident from day one of the preparation phase through to completion.”

Mark Smith, CEO at Reach, commented:

“The Reach management team is delighted to join Acosta and to continue what has already been a successful story. We hope this will be a transformational deal for both parties. The combination will enable Reach to accelerate its growth strategy and also allow Acosta to significantly enhance its service offerings. Spayne Lindsay were valued partners throughout the process and our thanks to them for their significant support and excellent guidance.”
