Spayne Lindsay & Co. LLP advises Royal Wessanen nv on the acquisition of the So Good brand and business in Europe.

The Executive Board of Royal Wessanen nv (“Wessanen”) has announced that an agreement has been reached to acquire the So Good brand and business in Europe. Spayne Lindsay is very pleased to have been involved in advising Wessanen on this transaction at an exciting time for the soya category in Europe.

In the United Kingdom, So Good is the second largest brand in the fast-growing dairyalternatives market, offering a range of ambient and chilled soy based beverages.

Wessanen is a leading international food company based in the Netherlands focused on natural and organic, as well as specialty and multicultural, food brands. So Good will be integrated and managed by Wessanen’s UK subsidiary, Kallo Foods Limited, and this add-on acquisition will further strengthen the group’s dairy-alternatives portfolio, which is one of the strategic food categories for their health brands in Europe.
