Spayne Lindsay provides strategic advice to Creta Farm on its entry into the UK market.
Spayne Lindsay is delighted to announce that it has provided strategic advice to Creta Farm on its entry into the UK through a joint venture arrangement with HKScan.
Creta Farm, based in Greece, is a leading supplier of deli meat products to the retail channel and has established market leading positions in its domestic market. Creta Farm has developed a patented process for a branded deli meat product range that incorporates the benefits of extra virgin olive oil, which enhances the taste and has certified health benefits. Creta Farm is keen to pursue geographical expansion using a model of operating joint venture arrangements.
HKScan is one of the leading meat and food companies in northern Europe with a domestic market consisting of Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Baltics and Poland. The company produces, sells and markets pork, beef and poultry meat, processed meats and convenience foods to retail, industry and export customers.
Spayne Lindsay worked closely with Creta Farm to understand the business and provide strategic advice regarding its entry into the UK market including making introductions to potential partners and facilitating early discussions between the parties.
